Industrial Card

Q:Our customer is manufacturing Medical Instruments using some of Decision Products. Thay
have called me today and explain their problem with 16 Port Photoisolator I/P Board. They use
external 5V for the board. But after operating some time (10 minutes or more). The board is
OVERHEATING and failed to operate. They could not find out the reason..
I have told them to replace the board. But, they have got 2 pieces and both of them have same
overheating problem.
We have to solve the problem, since they are going to use our products continiously for
production.
A:Please tell us which Chip is overheating? And how do you connect it with other devices?
If it is 74LS245, we will send 74HC245 Chip to you. Then 74HC245 replaces with 74LS245.

Q:We already changed LSs to HCs. But still the chips were overheating. When we use the internal
supply (not external) and using without isolating mode or with isolating mode, board is working
good at normal temperature for half hour. after that time, even we had a signal level 1 on inputs,
leds are litting off on some inputs and after 10 minutes we are loosing all signals one by one.
What do you suggest?
A:1.Please give more detail information about your problem. For example, how do you input the
signal level 1...
2.You can't input internal and external power on the same photoisolater in same time.
3.If you select isolater mode, please don't input any power from IVEXT+ and IVEXT-.
You must directly input a high/low voltage to photoisolater.
The high voltage is 3-30V. The low voltage can't over 3V.
4.If you select no-isolater mode, the reference voltage can't over 12V.

Q:I'm Gerard Draper, an erasmus student. I'm developing my final project in VHTI, in Katho, (Belguim). I am using a "PCI Industrial Control card", but I'm not able to install it into my windows 2000 Server. We have followed the instruccions from the manuals, but we are not able to install the drivers and detect succesfully the card. I think that the problem lays on the O.S., not on the hardware. Could you help me to install the card? could you tell me if the problem lays on the O.S., if I'm doing something wrong.
A:Please download the driver from our FTP site as follow:

Q:thanks for your help on installation of driver in Windows 2000 Server. And we also want to install the driver to Windows 2000 Professional. However, the machine would be halted after searched the driver. And the driver installation procedure cannot be completed. How can i solve the problem and install the driver to Professional Version?
A:Please link our FTP Server or web site to download the lastest driver.

Q:I have this driver and work great... but
in a previous Linux
Kernel version (2.2.14 as you said) I need a more new kernel
compilation
(version 2.4 or more !!).
A:Please link our web site to download the driver.

Q:Comments. Re 12767 Industrial Control
Card:
1. What are the current and voltage limits for input and
output signals?
2. Is it possible to allocate the 16 lines of a port
between input and output or must all be of one type?
2. What isolation is there between externals and computer?
A:1. The PCI Industrial card doesn’t support
external voltage, it just supports internal voltage (+12V, -12V and
+5V).
2. They support output mode when the PCI industrial card
connects relay board, or they support input mode when it connects photo
board.
External
and computer are isolated by external photo board.

Q:I have some problems with the PCI
Industrial Control card with 64 channels.
With
Win 98 + NT everything is OK.
When
I use the same card in the same board with Win-2000 the system always
reboot when windows is starting.
Do
you have a solution?
A:Please link our web site to download the
driver for WIN2000.

Q:Does the DII version 1.89 include the PCI
PnP industry control card driver for NT/2000?
or
when will it be available?
A:Please link to our web site to download it.
